Tammy Jo Hodges, 45, of Stonington passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 8, 1972 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She married Scott Hodges on May 28, 1994 in Indianapolis. Tammy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had worked as a manager for Subway. She enjoyed playing cards, Sudoku puzzles, and Bingo. Tammy enjoyed camping and most of all loved the time spent with family.

She is survived by her husband: Scott Hodges of Stonington; daughters: Kelsey Ann Hodges and Samantha Lynn Hodges both of Stonington; sons: Christopher Andrew Hodges of Shelbyville, Indiana, and Nicholas Donovan Hodges (fiancé, Elizabeth Anne Lewis) of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister: Amy Sue Forbes of Indianapolis; and brother: David Lee Potter (Cathy) of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her mother: Viveca Pickett and stepfather: Michael Pickett; and grandparents: Robert and Wanda Davis.

Funeral services for Tammy will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville with Rev. Steve Switzer officiating. Burial will be in the Old Stonington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a family memorial c/o Regions Bank in Taylorville.
