He married Nancy (Lilly) Fleetwood on May 23,1987 at the Kindgom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Taylorville, Illinois. He was preceeded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Fleetwood.
He had various occupations throughout the years. He raced motorcycles, owned a hair salon called Michaels in Taylorville and later owned a janitorial company. His primary mission in life was serving as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He felt priveleged to spend much of his time for the last 50 years of his life in various volunteer efforts including the door to door ministry, domestic and international construction as well as assisting other members.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter J. Renee Lyons, son Brad R (Anjanette C) Fleetwood and granddaughters Mycah Scoggins and Madison Lyons.
A visitation and memorial will be held June 10, 2018 at the Kindgom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3540 Lincoln Trail, Taylorville, Illinois. Visitation begins at 3:00 pm and Memorial Talk at 4:30pm.
