Anna Marie McVey, 91 of Taylorville passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:50 p.m. at Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorville, IL. She was born on September 13, 1927 in Blue Mound, IL the Daughter of Joseph and Jane (Rigsby) Nolen. She married Joseph McVey on March 7, 1944 and he preceded her in death on February 13, 1991. Anna worked as a waitress in her younger days and later she helped her husband on the farm.

She is survived by her Daughters: Charlotte (Denny) Schum of Decatur, IL; Mary Jane McVey of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Brad (Sherry) McVey of Bridgeport, IL; John Foor Jr. of Dallas, TX; Six Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Donald McVey, Brothers and Sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Burial will be held in Berea Cemetery in rural Niantic, IL.
