Lyle Irvin Moma, 82, of Stonington passed away at 12:40p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Meadow Manor Nursing Home in Taylorville. He was born on August 29, 1936 in Blue Mound, the son of John Irvin and Louella May (Myers) Moma. He married Nancy Mae Reider on December 27, 1958 in Stonington. Lyle retired from St. Vincent Memorial Hospital and previously worked as a supervisor for Aramark. He attended Joy Assembly Church in Stonington and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy Moma of Stonington; son: Kevin Moma, wife Donna, of Decatur; granddaughter: Ally Moma of Decatur; brothers: Laverne Moma (Judy) and Bill Moma (Linda) both of Taylorville; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Beverly Endrizzi; and a nephew.

The funeral service for Lyle will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville with Rev. Tim Moats officiating. Burial will take place in the Old Stonington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. until the time of service, Thursday in the funeral home.
