Robert W. Wilke, 64 of Taylorville passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 8:41 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville, IL. He was born on February 22, 1955 in Flora, IL the son of Raymond and Betty (McGrew) Wilke. He married Dawn Durbin on September 15, 2009 in Manistee, MI. Robert was a retired gauger and truck driver for Country Mark Co-op and was a member of American Legion Post 14 in Flora, IL.

He is survived by his wife: Dawn Wilke of Taylorville, IL; brother: William Wilke of Louisville, IL; niece: Marcy (Ken) Kwiatkowski of Manhattan, IL; mother- in- law: Rhea Sue Beaird of Taylorville, IL; sisters- in -law: Diane (Gary) Sassatelli of Taylorville, IL, Denise (John) Sassatelli of Taylorville, IL, Deeann Durbin of Springfield, IL, Glenda (Nick) Clark of Edinburg, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Diane Rohr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with the memorial service immediately following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
