Joyce A. Nation, 63 of Glenarm, IL formerly of Taylorville passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 6:15 a.m. at her home in Glenarm, IL. She was born on January 23, 1956 in Morrisonville, IL the daughter of Kenneth and Juanita (Fleigle) Nation. She married Daniel Yates Jr. on October 25, 2015 in the Davis Memorial Christian Church in Taylorville. Joy worked as a seamstress at her business JoySmile Sewing, and as a pianist at Davis Memorial Christian Church and Legacy Theater in Springfield, IL. 
She is survived by her Husband: Daniel Yates Jr. of Glenarm, IL; Sons: Randall (Melissa) Deal of Algonquin, IL; Levi Knipmeyer of Beardstown, IL; Daughters: April (Jay) Risinger of Raleigh, NC; Laynee Knipmeyer of St. Louis, MO; Grandchildren: Avery, Emma, and Jack Risinger; Sienna and Autumn Deal; Hannah Parker, Haley Blair, and Broady Kunz; Brother: Bruce Nation of Taylorville, IL; Sister: Karen Herman of Taylorville, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents. 
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Christian Church in Taylorville. The Funeral Service will follow the visitation starting at 7:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Christian Church in Taylorville with Pastor Bill Kerns officiating.
