Clem "Cowboy" Scribner

Clem "Cowboy" Scribner, 81 of Oconee, Illinois died Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 10:49 PM at Heritage Health Care, Pana. Clem "Cowboy" Scribner was born Thursday, September 16, 1937 in Matthews, Missouri the son of Clemmie Milton and Martha Lucille (maiden name Mince) Scribner, Sr. Clem was raised in Bloomfield, Missouri and attended elementary school in Audubon Country School and high school in Nokomis, Illinois. Clem was formerly married to ElFredia Scales. He was a member of Pana Christian Church and was last employed by Hinkel-McCoy Construction Company.

Clem Scribner is survived by Sons: Clem "Huck" (Cindy) Scribner, III of Ramsey and Greg Scribner of Oconee; Daughters: Jill (Tom) Carroll of Nokomis; Pam (Paul) Marley of Fillmore; and Gail Riggs of Springfield; Sisters: Jane (Weldon) Stetter of Cantrall, Illinois; Bonnie (Dave) Books of Springfield; Brothers: Jerry (Krissie) Scribner of Vista, Calfornia; Larry Scribner of Pana; Sisters Kathy (Linh) Pham of Austin,Texas; and Sue (Bill) Koons of Pana; nine (9) Grandchildren and ten (10) Great- Grandchildren. Clem is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Scribner.
 

Visitation will be held Saturday May 11, 2019 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Kennedy & Sons Funeral Directors 401 S. Locust Street, Pana.

 

Funeral will follow visitation on Saturday May 11th at 10:00 AM at Kennedy & Sons Funeral Directors, 401 S. Locust Street, Pana.

 

Burial will take place at Bilyeu cemetery in Moweaqua.
