Shirley A. Landers, 92 of Taylorville passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 5:35 p.m. at Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorville, IL. She was born on September 14, 1926 in Kincaid, IL the daughter of Herbert Taylor and Inez (Hawkins) Sessions. She married Challie “Bud” Landers on August 6, 1946 in Taylorville, IL and he preceded her in death on October 31, 2005. 

She is survived by her Son: Scott (Dottie) Landers of Taylorville, IL; Daughter: Becky (Bob) Nelson of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Bobbi (Marvin) Gomez of Colorado; Debbie (Josh) Stephens of Taylorville, IL; Mike (Christie) Nelson of Taylorville, IL; Lance (Sarah) Nelson of Chatham, IL; Adam (Lexi) Landers of Taylorville, IL; Taylor Landers and Companion Tommy Skinner of Taylorville, IL; Cole Landers of Taylorville, IL; Eight Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Gary Landers, Grandson: Terry Landers, Great-Grandson: Lane Nelson and Great-Granddaughter: RemiAnn Louise Landers.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral Service will follow the visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Tiney Walker officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL at 12:00 Noon.
