Catherine Ann Bonn, 61, of Taylorville passed away at 1:10a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.  She was born on April 21, 1958 in Belleville, the daughter of James and Luan (Kumke) McKinney.  She married Danny Bonn on December 9, 1989 in the Christian Church in Blue Mound.  She and Danny were members of the Life Coast Church in Palm Coast, Florida.  Cathy was a homemaker and will always be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor.  She could brighten up any room she walked into with her sassy, feisty personality.  She was a talented crafter who loved to sew, paint, and crochet among many other crafting projects.  Above all Cathy loved her family, especially her many grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband: Danny Bonn of Taylorville; daughter: Sarah Young of Florida, Annie Halsema (Andrew) of Decatur, Ashley Ahrens (Melvin) of Greenview, and Kelly Coen (Joshua) of Mountain Grove, Missouri; 17 grandchildren; 5 sisters and 1 brother; step-father: John Stewart of Palm Coast, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
