Juanita Buckles, 96 of Taylorville passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 9:40 p.m. at Life’s Journey Senior Living Center in Taylorville, IL. She was born on July 21, 1923 in Taylorville, IL the Daughter of Joseph and Lucy (Likens) Hunt. She married Henry Raymond Buckles on March 22, 1941 in St. Charles, MO and he preceded her in death. 
She is survived by her daughters: Connie (Buckles) Oller of Taylorville, IL, Judy (Buckles) and husband Dave Hill of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Renee (Hill) and husband Steve Creek of Cerro Gordo, IL, Jonita (Oller) and husband Clayt Lemon of Butler, IL, Shelly (Hill) and husband Mike Bozarth of Bloomington, IL; nine great grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. she was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Raymond Hunt, Arthur Hunt, Chester Hunt; sisters: Roberta Sebben, Velma Muffick, Elizabeth Collins, Norie Hunt; and son in law Raymond Oller.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with funeral service immediately following the visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
