Virginia E. Eller, 91 of Nokomis passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 1:39 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. She was born on June 26, 1928 in Christian County, IL the daughter of Vernie and Wilma (Boyd) Masters. She married Roy R. Eller Sr. on February 17, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 18, 2005. Virginia was an avid bowler, played golf and she loved weekend cookouts with her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nokomis, IL.
She is survived by her Sons: John “Bill” Eller of Nokomis, IL and Roy Raymond (Brenda) Eller Jr. of Litchfield, IL; Daughters: Carol Wright of Nokomis, IL; Penny (Jim) Hood of Shelbyville, IL; Grandchildren: Michelle Richardson, Chris Eller, David Hilt, Jeffrey (Kim) Hilt, Kayla Hilt, Kelsey (Dyllan) Goldsmith, Kenny Eller, Kurt (Sarah) Eller, Jimmy Hood, Jennifer (Kyle) Hood-Strum and Jerrica Hood; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Vernon, John, Loren and Omar; sister: Priscilla McDowell and grandson: Michael Hilt. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Nokomis. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Nokomis with Rev. Roy Eller Jr. officiating. Burial will be held in Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis, IL. Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family with arrangements.
