Everett Johnson, 72 of Taylorville passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Nokomis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Nokomis, IL. He was born on April 16, 1947 in Springfield, IL the son of Roy Larue and Helen (Lomprez) Johnson. Everett was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and he served in the Vietnam War. 

He is survived by his Long time companion Rhonda Reeter-Beck, Daugters: Jeri (Phil) Brown of Ft. Wayne, IN, Amanda (Dale) Henkes of Cresco, IA, Sons: Steven (Becky) Thompson of Athens, IL; Rodney (Kim) Johnson of Riverton, IL; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; Step-Son: Dallas Beck of Taylorville; Brothers: Mondell Johnson of Middletown, IL; Frank Johnson of Sebring, FL and Jerry Johnson of Bloomington, IL. He was preceded in death by his Parents and 3 brothers.

Everett will be cremated and there will be no services.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
