Brad Allen Cox, 50, of Taylorville passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 2:45 pm at his home in Taylorville, IL. He was born on December 4th, 1969 in Charleston, IL to Millard Eugene and Neoma Ann (Pierson) Cox. He graduated from Oakland High School in 1988. Brad married Karen Hall on November 06, 2015 in Taylorville, IL. Before meeting Karen, Brad was married to Betty (Cox) Ellinger, with whom he raised two children (John and Madison) with. He spent most of his career driving a truck and farming.

He is survived by his Wife: Karen Cox of Taylorville, IL; Children: John (Cassie) Cox and Madison Cox of Taylorville, IL; Stepchildren: Justin (Danielle) Hall, Kellie Wingo, and Jerica Hall of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Berkley, Mason, Aiden, Grady, Asher, Emylie, Easton, Mason, and Connor; Brother: David (Brenda) Cox; Sister: Kimberly Evans and Mother: Neoma Ann Cox, and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Millard Eugene Cox, Grandparents: Malcolm and Louise Pierson, and his brother: Michael Eugene Cox. 

Private Family Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chad Foster officiating. 

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
