Danielle Lee Coady-Johnson, 42 of Taylorville passed away in her home on Friday, May 1, 2020.  Dani, as her family referred to her, was born on June 7, 1977 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Mark T. and Debra J. (Delinsky) Coady. Dani graduated from Taylorville High School in 1995.  She loved the Chicago Cubs, family, and baking.

She is survived by her children: Keston Baxton (companion Lexie Hartle), Kiya Baxton, Leeah Coady-Tucker, and Coady Johnson; father: Mark T. Coady and wife Joanne; mother: Debbie Delinsky; sisters: Jennifer Coady (companion Lonnie Scott) and Elizabeth Coady; brothers:  Johnathon Coady, Matthew Coady, and Joshua Shapiro; grandchild: Montrell Baxton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved rescue Pit, Romeo.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents: John J. & Shirley Coady and Tony & Doris Delinsky; and infant brother: Jason Coady.

Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville and the family will host a celebration of Dani’s life at a later date.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorials may be left to the family to help with funeral expenses.  Memories of Dani, or condolences to the family, may be shared online at www.mcclurefuneralhome.com.
