William “Danny” Roeder, 66, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 3:14 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.

Danny was born on May 13, 1954, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Lloyd and Birdie (Newton) Roeder. He worked for Eschbaugh Carpet Service for many years as Scott’s right hand man. Danny loved baseball, was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved to mushroom hunt with Brad Rickett.

Surviving are his brother, Allen Roeder of Pana; sister, Peggy (Robert) Snow of Lakewood and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

A gathering for friends and family to celebrate Danny's life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville.
