Mike Rea “Gunslingr”, 76 of Taylorville passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his home in Taylorville, IL. He was born on October 30, 1943 in Chicago, IL the son of Clarence B. and Lorene E. (Pifer) Rea. Mike retired from Caterpillar in Decatur. He was a member of the Taylorville Eagles, Mound Lodge #122 AF & AM in Taylorville and Ansar Shrine. He enjoyed to hang out with his local Taylorville friends.  
He is survived by his Sons: Danny (Heidi) Rea of Warrensburg, IL; Mike “Mikey” Rea of SC; R. Rea and Wife; Daughter: Julie (Ron) Hadley of Pana, IL; Grandchildren: Daniel and Hanah Rea of Illinois, Shayna Hadley of Colorado and Blake (Kaley) Hadley of Pana, IL; Great-Grandchildren: Paisley Rea-Ann, Natalyn Blake Rose, Maebry and Landry. He was preceded in death by his Parents. 
Mike will be cremated and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
