Stephen L. Neal, 65 of Morrisonville passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his home in rural Morrisonville, IL. He was born on May 28, 1955 in Anderson, IN, the son of Richard Neal and Joyce (Southers) McCurdy. He married Charla (Herman) McGuire on February 14, 2001 in Springfield, IL. He was a retired hog farmer, and owned his own cabinet making business. He was a member of the Illinois Pork Producers Association and the SanChris Bass Club. Steve was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He valued time spent with family and friends. He was always quick to lend a hand when needed, and will be sadly missed by family and friends.  
He is survived by his wife: Charla Neal of Morrisonville, IL; Step-Daughters: Angela (Don) Humphrey of Taylorville, IL; Erin (Brett) Hogge of Taylorville, IL; Step-Son: Will McGuire of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Matthew and Mary Tucker of Taylorville, IL; Elliott, Evan, Ethen and Ella Hogge all of Taylorville, IL; Kyle and Tyler McGuire both of Pana, IL; Great-Grandchildren: Sophia and Lydia Tucker of Taylorville, IL; Emersyn Hogge of Taylorville, IL; Sister: Kelly (Dan) Baylis of Howell, MI; Brother: Tim (Denise) McCurdy of Pendleton, IN; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister: Deb Reed and father-in-Law: William Herman. 
Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
