Ronald E. Seiler, 72 of rural Owaneco passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2020 at 4:50 p.m. at his home in rural Owaneco, IL. He was born on November 5, 1948 in Taylorville, IL the son of Gene and Lucille (Ayers) Seiler. He married Myrna Sims on September 5, 1992 in Owaneco, IL. He was a member of the Taylorville American Legion Post #73, Moose Lodge #1516 and Owaneco Masonic Lodge AF & AM where he was a past master. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. 
He is survived by his Wife: Myrna Seiler of rural Owaneco; Daughter: Rachael (Brad) Cox of Owaneco, IL; Sons: Steve (Melisa) Seiler of Owaneco, IL; David (Sylvia) Seiler of Owaneco, IL; Grandchildren: Kayla (Kyle) Paine of Taylorville; Kayla (Chelsea) Boehme of California; Kyle (Shelbey) Stilwill of St. Louis, MO; Ashley (Ben) Baker of Taylorville; Zack Seiler of Owaneco; Brittany Moore and Companion Ryan Crews of Owaneco; Malorie Oller of Kincaid; Taylor Seiler of Pevely, MO; Wyatt Cox of Owaneco; Damon (Mikayla) Moore of Taylorville; Kade Cox of Owaneco; Aiden Seiler of Owaneco; Great-Grandchildren: Alexus Paine of Decatur; Kylie Paine of Taylorville; Kelby Martin of Kincaid; Charlotte Jackson of Taylorville; Declan Boehme of California; Oliver Paine of Taylorville; Cayde Baker of Taylorville; Sister: Rosella Wise of Owaneco; Brothers: Garyl Seiler of Pana, IL; and Chris Seiler of Pana, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Gena Lou Seiler in infancy and two grandsons Derek Michael and Logan David Seiler.
Private family services will be held with Pastor Tom Young officiating. Burial will be in Buckeye Prairie Cemetery in rural Owaneco, IL with military graveside honors. 
Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
