Mrs. Ruth Ann Wyzard, 72 of Kincaid went to be with our Lord on Saturday April 3, 2021. After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 9, 1948, the daughter of David and Doris Bandy. She married James Wyzard on January 31, 1970 at the Kincaid Church of God.

Throughout her life, Ruth was a loyal and devoted member of the Kincaid Church of God. She taught Sunday school and enjoyed helping the Women’s Ministry with the annual peanut brittle fundraiser. Ruth worked at Consolidated Communications as an assistant chief supervisor, as well as the state of Illinois and finally Taylorville Clinic. And, most importantly, Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family - especially her children and grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 51 years, James. Children: Erica (Shanon) German, Niantic, IL; Jennifer Richards, Taylorville; JT (Katie) Wyzard, Taylorville. Grandchildren: Jett and Elle Richards and Tatum and Meacham Wyzard. Sister: Vickie (Dennis) Baker. Brothers: David (Diane) Bandy and Scott (Kristi) Bandy. Brother-in-law Eric (Mary) Wyzard and Sister-in-law Vanessa (Larry) Gardner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and grandson, Preston. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 9am-11am at the Kincaid Church of God. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11am with Mike Summers officiating. Masterson Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Kincaid is assisting the family with arrangements.
