Marilyn Jean Black-Malmberg, 80, of Taylorville passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 7:05 a.m. at her residence in Taylorville, IL. She was born on November 6, 1940 in Aurora, IL the daughter of William F. and Alma Mae (Weaver) Black. She worked in sales and marketing until her retirement.

She is survived by her Daughters: Shari Lyn Sutherland of Springfield, IL; Monday Malmberg-Johnson of Palm Harbor FL; Sons: Anthony Vincent Chiavaro II and Janet-Baker Chiavaro of Taylorville, IL and Morgan (Sherilyn) Malmberg of Springfield, IL; Grandchildren: Grant M. Malmberg, Adam L. Johnson, Carlee Mae Malmberg; Great-Grandchildren: Hannah K. Johnson and Aria F. Johnson; Sister-in-law: Peggy Black. Survived by Nephews: Robert Black, Tim Black, Glenn Black and Niece: Melissa Black-Hill. Her best lifelong friends: Sharon Younker, George Newberry, her much loved care giver Marta Banks and her beloved nephew Collin Shoemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Robert Black and James F. Black.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Bob Turner officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Herrick, IL.
