Mrs. Sharon Irene Christer, 76, of Kincaid, IL passed from this life at 5:08 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

She was born in Kincaid, IL July 6, 1944 the daughter of Marvin and Irene (Behl) O'Dell.  Sharon married Robert Christer on September 5, 1964 in Kincaid, IL and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2010.

Sharon was a member of the Kincaid Baptist Church.  She really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are a son Robert "Bob" (Tathlyn) Christer of Tovey, IL daughter Sherie (Randy) Aymer of Tovey, IL a son Matt Christer and companion Missy Hamilton of Kincaid, IL 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchild, sisters Kathryn (John) Tomazic of Taylorville, IL Donna (Jerry) Stewart of Pana, IL Roberta (Dale) Akers of Zeigler, IL Marla O'Dell of Kincaid, IL and a brother Mike O'Dell of Kincaid, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Wanda Miller.

Visitation for Mrs. Sharon Christer will be held from 10 am to Noon on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL.  Funeral services will immediately follow with Rev. Louis Kunz officiating.  Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery, Rural Stonington, IL.   Condolences may also be left at mastersonfh.com and will be forwarded to her family.
