Bart Keith Thomas, 57 of Flora, passed away at 3:02am on Sunday, May 2, 2021 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 20, 1963 in Taylorville, the son of Ward and Sue (Beaty) Thomas. Bart had a love of people, he was the most content when he was surrounded by friends and family that were engaging in good conversation. He enjoyed bells, and when he wasn’t holding one, there would certainly be one found nearby.

He is survived by his mother: Sue Thomas of Edinburg; siblings: Delton Thomas of Warrensburg, Jo Ellen Davis (Kenneth) of Edinburg, Matthew Thomas (Barbara) of Monticello, and Jill Morman (Kent) of Edinburg; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Bart was preceded in death by his father Ward Thomas.
