Jerry Allen Nation, 39, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Stonington, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was born on December 25, 1981 in Hillsboro. Jerry worked as a tower crane operator at large construction sites around the country. He loved spending time outdoors. Family and friends will always remember him as a loving, outgoing person who never met a stranger. More than anything he loved his daughter, Madison.

He is survived by his daughter: Madison Nation of St. Louis, Missouri; mother: Jenny Nation of Stonington; brothers: Maurice Burkey of Blue Mound and Frank Nation, wife Billie, of Taylorville; nieces and nephews: Marissa, Will, Mackenna, and Morgan; and great niece: Hadleigh.
