Amy Ann Phillips, 57 of Kincaid, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 9:35 p.m. at her home. She was born on November 19, 1963 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Lloyd Fredrick Schleyhahn Sr. and Monica June (Fox) Schleyhahn. She married Dean Lee Phillips on October 31, 1993 in Tovey, IL. Amy was an avid reader who loved rock n’roll and had a green thumb for growing things.

She is survived by her husband: Dean Lee Phillips, daughter: Monica Schleyhahn (companion Shaun Foster) of Kincaid, IL, sons: Christopher Dean Lee (Kira) Phillips of Kincaid, IL and Castle J. (fiancé Courtney Minks) Phillips of Taylorville, IL, grandchildren: Tyler Lee Foster and Caitlyn Foster of Kincaid, IL, Brysinn Phillips and Axel Phillips of Taylorville, IL and Rhorick Phillips of Kincaid, IL, brother: Barry (Joy) Schleyhahn several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers:Loyd Frederick Schleyhahn,Jr., Kevin Jay Schleyhahn and nephews: Joshua Schleyhahn and James Schleyhahn.

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Sutton Memorial Home with burial at Bethany Cemetery in Edinburg, immediately following the funeral service.
