Kim Edward Miller, 69 of Springfield formerly of Taylorville passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 12:06 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL surrounded by family. He was born on July 14, 1952 in Springfield, IL the son of Hillman and Nianna (Cleveland) Miller. Kim was the owner of Car Parlor Detailing Shop in Taylorville.

He was preceded in death by his Father: Hilman B. Miller, two brothers: Jerry E. Miller, Danny Miller, Two daughters: Tina Cathy and Kimberly Jackson.

Kim leaves to cherish his memories: mother: Nianna Stennis of East St. Louis; sons: Joshua “Josh” Miller, Jeremiah “Bugs” Miller both of Taylorville; Kim Edward Parrish “Kim Kim”, Richard “Huff” Parrish, Aaron Parrish, Jimmy Lee Watson, Brandon Kirkwood, and Edward Watson all of Springfield. Daughter: Yolanda “Midget” Michelle Miller of Springfield; Sisters: Sharon Bennett of Belleville; Sandy Haley and Twana Miller both of Springfield; Lafondraetta “Fongie” Lanier of Atlanta, GA; Brothers: Ricky Miller and Orlando Johnson both of Springfield, Edwin & Erwin Stennis of East St. Louis; Bill McCutcheon of Dallas, TX; Twenty Two grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, Special Aunt Donna Wiley of Springfield; special friends: Kissi and Louis Sullivan of Taylorville, special companions: Rita Mae Fisher of Springfield; Sheila Crowder of Taylorville and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation starting at 7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
