Jo Ann Dobyns, 75 of Taylorville passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2021 at 7:33 p.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville, IL. She was born on June 6, 1946 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Earl and Ivadel (Stahr) Austin. She married Jerry Dobyns in 1972 in Taylorville, IL.

She is survived by her daughter: Rhonda (Rick) Ondrey of Taylorville, IL sons: Rex (Terri) Rickman, Jerry (Wendy) Dobyns, and Jeff Jones all of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Luke, Corey, Zack, Tiffany, Colton, Brett, and William Rickman, Nikki and Timmy Jones, Austin and Jakob Dobyns, Heather Dobyns, Angie Rogers; twenty-three great-grandchildren; sisters: Norma (Gene) Anderson and Vicky Austin of Taylorville, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Earl “Sonny” Austin, sister: Sharon Austin, husband Jerry Dobyns Sr, sons: Bart and Brett Rickman and grandson James Lee Rogers. 

Private family services are to be held at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.
