Theresa A. Brown, 66 of Kincaid passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 7:01 a.m. at her home in Kincaid, IL. She was born on January 23, 1955 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of James and Marlene (Mills) Brown. Theresa worked as the shift manager at KFC in Taylorville. She loved playing bingo, being around family and traveling. Theresa especially loved to go to her sisters houses and cook Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner. 

She is survived by her daughter: Candy (Tim) Farney of Morris, IL; son: Tim Helms of Kincaid, IL; grandson: Alexander Turney of Mechanicsburg, IL; Step-Grandson: Tyler Farney; Step-Granddaughter: Sydney Farney; Father: Jim Brown of Taylorville, IL; sisters: Ellen Sampson of Taylorville, IL; Brenda (Brian) Shake of Taylorville, Deb (Greg) Foster of Taylorville, Julia (Kenny) Jackson of Lafette, TN, Rhonda (Steve) Walters of Taylorville, Betty Asmussen (Paul Gagne) of Taylorville, IL; brothers: James (Ron) Brown of Florida, Steven (Kelly) Brown of Taylorville, Ronnie (Anita) Brown of Taylorville, Tommy (Dawn) Brown of Taylorville, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother: Marlene, sister: Marcella and her grandson Anthony. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 10:00-1:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
