Beulah Gaynor Dyer Martin, 68 of Taylorville, passed away at 11:27p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.  She was born on January 26, 1954 in Springfield, the daughter of Raymond Patrick and Beulah (Durbin) Gaynor.  She married Thomas Martin in 2003 and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2015.  Beulah was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and previously worked as a car detailer at Bob Ridings as well as her own business.  She truly enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is survived by her son: Roger Dyer (Amie) of Taylorville; grandchildren: Clayton Dyer (Tabitha), Caelyn Dyer, and Savannah Blanford; great grandchildren: James Dyer and Jackson Dyer; siblings: Rita Martin of Taylorville and Michael Gaynor (Jean) of Owaneco; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings: Raymond Patrick “Pat” Gaynor, Janette Matthews, and Thomas Gaynor. 

A visitation for Beulah will be held from 3:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville.  Her family and friends are invited to join together for a celebration of her life, to be held immediately following the visitation on Sunday, at the Funky Monkey, 2100 W Spresser, Taylorville.  Memorials in Beulah’s memory may be left to her family.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memories of Beulah, or condolences to her family, may be shared online at www.mcclurefuneralhome.com.
