Erma M. Bell, 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Manor Court Nursing Home in Clinton, Illinois.  

     She was born in Farmer City, Illinois, on October 6, 1928  to Jerry and Bessie (Turpin) Lamb.   She is survived by two daughters, Linda Willis of Maryland and Patti (Jesse) Cooper of Clinton, IL.  Survivors also include grandchildren Kimberly (Jeff) Allison, Kristy (Adam) Grzybowski, Kerry (Kevin) Bruffey, Melinda Johnson, Nicholas Willis, all of Maryland; Tricia (Brian) Cooper, Richard (Dena Whitney) Tuggle, Kyle (Rachel) Tuggle, all of Clinton, IL; as well as 14 great grandchildren who were blessed to have her as their GG. 

     Erma was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Anita Jean Howell; husband Reed Bell; 6 brothers and 6 sisters.

     Erma was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved her crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble and cards.  Hundreds of rounds of Kings on Corner were played at her kitchen table and those memories will be held dear.

     Private services will be held at a later date.
