Rhonda Pearl Stout, 69, of Carlinville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville, IL. Rhonda was born on April 29, 1953, in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of Taylor and Pearl “Freda” (Johnson) Myers. She married David Stout on June 22, 1973, at the First United Methodist Church in Litchfield, IL.

She is survived by her husband, David Stout; brother, Tom (Kathy) Myers of Springfield, IL; brothers-in-law, Steve (Jennifer) Stout and Bruce Stout (husband, Roland) of Palm Springs, CA; nieces, Andrea Myers, Abby Stout, and Nicole Stout of Springfield, IL; She was also survived by many cousins.

Rhonda was also preceded in death by her parents, many aunts and uncles, in-laws Richard and Betty Stout, and her loving pet dog, Snickers.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Carlinville, IL. Rhonda loved shoes, purses, jewelry, and shopping, especially at Wal-Mart. She was also an avid bowler and enjoyed visiting many Casinos and Fall Festivals.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Edinburg Cemetery in rural Edinburg, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rhonda’s name may be made to Macoupin County Animal Control & Adoption Center.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
