Annetta Kay Daniels, 63 of Taylorville, passed away at 2:22a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.  She was born on October 12, 1958 in Taylorville, the daughter of Harrison and Dorothy (McArdle) Daniels.  She was an active member of Davis Memorial Christian Church where she cared for children in the nursery for 50 years.  She was affectionately known as “Aunt Netta” by many of those that knew her.  Annetta began her career in medical billing at the Christian County Medical Clinic and was currently the operations manager for physicians billing at Memorial Medical Center.  She was dedicated to her career and her family whom she dearly loved. 

She is survived by her siblings: Buddy Daniels (Wilma) of Edinburg, Alice Newlin of Taylorville, Arlene Graham (John) of Taylorville, and Cathy Robertson (Lynn) of Altamont; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Barbara Cairns; and brother-in-law: John Newlin.

A funeral service for Annetta will take place at noon on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Davis Memorial Christian Church with Pastor Dennis Metsker officiating.  The visitation will take place from 10:00a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, in the church.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.  The family requests casual clothing for those attending Annetta’s service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Davis Memorial Christian Church.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memories of Annetta, or condolences to her family, may be shared online at www.mcclurefuneralhome.com.
