Daniel Patrick Fixsal

Daniel Patrick Fixsal, 56, of Morrisonville, passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Danny was born May 19, 1966, in Taylorville, the son of Carl H. and Noella (Sparks) Fixsal, Jr.  He married Tammy Morgason on June 19, 1998, in Morrisonville, and they later divorced.

Danny owned and operated Fixsal No Cleanup Tree Service for many years.  Work was his hobby, and he was always tinkering or working on something.  Danny loved leatherworking, carving tree stumps, and being in the great outdoors.  He was especially fond of his horse, Shadow, which he was constantly tending to and riding. Danny was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Morrisonville

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Alyse Davis; and brother, Carl S. Fixsal.

Danny is survived by his children, Nikki (Kevin) Johnson of Nokomis, Tony (Sarah) Presnell of Pana, Audrey Fixsal of Pana, Jack Fixsal of Morrisonville, Jason Fixsal of Morrisonville, and Lydia (Quintin) Tippitt of Morrisonville; grandchildren, Lyla, Nathan, Kody, Spencer, Wesley, Gavyn, Mason, Avery, Benton, Dean, and Annalyse; siblings, Dale Fixsal of Florida, Marty Fixsal of North Dakota, Matt (Linda) Fixsal of North Dakota, Janie (Bruce) Emerson of Taylorville, Mary (Scott) Hughes of Morrisonville, and Veronica (Paul) Wells of Morrisonville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation & Funeral Ceremony: The family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home, 304 Carlin Street, Morrisonville, IL 62546.  The funeral ceremony will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Chad Foster officiating.

Interment will follow the funeral ceremony at Morrisonville Cemetery.
