Rebecca Lynn (Erwin) Roach, 55, of Taylorville passed away at 5:55a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023 in her home.  She was born on March 5, 1967 in Decatur, the daughter of Dianna Borkhardt Sims and Wes Huddlestun.  Rebecca loved spending time with her grandkids and kids.  She loved her dog Mini.  She enjoyed riding four wheelers and anything to do with mud.  Rebecca loved going to the Covered Bridge Festival.  She was full of life and was always up for getting her hands dirty and fixing things. 

She is survived by her mother: Dianna Sims of Taylorville; father: Wes Huddlestun of Lincoln; sons: Christopher Erwin (Nikki) and TJ Forrest (Rachel) both of Taylorville; daughter: Tisha Sheppard (Tyler) of Taylorville; grandchildren: Kaylee Campbell, Kendra Erwin, Jacob Campbell, Lawrence (Boo) Erwin, and Keagen Erwin all of Taylorville; brothers: Marion Erwin (Kim) of Atwood, Tony Erwin of Arcola, Roy Sims Jr. of Kentucky, and Jim Huddlestun of Lincoln; and sisters: Shelia Winebarger (Sims) of Kentucky and Regina Fugate of Kentucky.  She was preceded in death by her step-father: Roy Lee Sims; brother: Billy Joe Sterling; her grandparents and uncles.
