Allen C. Braune, 78, of Clarksdale, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at his residence.

Allen was born February 21, 1945, in Dallas, TX, the son of Allen C.H. and Martha P. (Hicks) Braune. He worked as a correctional officer with the Nevada Department of Corrections until his retirement.  Allen then relocated to Clarksdale where he lived until his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and companion, Belinda Sue “Bee” Sexson.

Allen is survived by his dear friends and Bee’s family, Michael Sexson and Diana George, Mickey and Bill Swedick, and Jerry and Tammy Sexson.

Cremation will be accorded, and Allen will be interred at Old Stonington Cemetery.

The family has entrusted Shafer-Perfetti & Assalley Funeral Home in Taylorville with arrangements.
