Charles Wayne Montgomery, 76 of Cary, North Carolina, passed away on July 2, 2023. He was born in Taylorville, Illinois on June 16, 1947. Charles was a retired programmer for IBM, and made his home in Cary, NC. Charles was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Joann Montgomery; father: Floyd Wayne Montgomery; and brother: David Eugene Montgomery. He is survived by his sons: Charles Richard Montgomery and Robert James Montgomery; mother: Frances Eileen Montgomery, and brother: Mark Alan Montgomery. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery at 11 am July 22nd 2023, with a gathering at Mt.
