Elijah Aarron Coleman, 15 of Bulpitt, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.  He was born on September 1, 2008, in Springfield and was a student at South Fork High School.  Elijah was an adventurous yet gentle soul.  He had a love of animals and spending time in nature, especially while hiking.  Gaming was one of his favorite hobbies.   

He is survived by his mother: Tina Coleman of Bulpitt; siblings: Chloe Coleman (Alex Meier) of Jacksonville, Margaret Coleman of Eureka, and Daniel Coleman of Bulpitt; half siblings: Jami Coleman (Kat Parker- Coleman) of Jacksonville and Jason Coleman (Vickie) of Mason City, and his sibling’s father, Donald R. Coleman Jr., who he called “dad” of Jacksonville; and his first love, Shyanne Moore of Bulpitt. 

Elijah will be cremated, and a visitation will take place from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023, at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville.  In celebration of Elijah’s life, the family encourages everyone to wear pink attire.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memories of Elijah, or condolences to his family, may be shared online at www.mcclurefuneralhome.com.
