Mrs. Kathy Lynn (Lancaster) Harris, 55, of Kincaid passed from this life at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at home. 

She was born in Taylorville, IL December 27, 1967, the daughter of Herman (Buzz) and Sharon K. (Kelly) Lancaster.  Kathy married Mike Harris in Taylorville, IL April 1, 1995.

Kathy worked for 17 years at South Fork Schools where she also coached Junior High and High School Volleyball for many of those years, both at South Fork and at Edinburg.  She had served as Treasurer of the South Fork Youth Association for 16 years and was a member of the South Fork Schools PTC.  Kathy enjoyed camping at Lake Taylorville, arts and crafts, time spent with family and friends and especially her grandbabies.

Surviving are her husband Mike of Kincaid, 3 sons Nik (wife Erica) Harris of Taylorville, Alek (wife Hannah) Harris and Hunter Harris all of Kincaid, 7 grandchildren Kennedy, Wade, Knox, Cadence, Piper, Theo and T.J. along with her father Herman “Buzz” (wife Barbara) Lancaster of Morrisonville, sister Kelly (husband Bob) Lael of Edinburg, brother Gary Lancaster of Illiopolis, sisters Brenda Lancaster of Colorado and Peggy Castle of Taylorville, brother Quinton Lancaster of Taylorville and many nieces, nephews and a great many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon K Lancaster in 2008 and a sister-in-law Debbie Lancaster.

Visitation for Mrs. Kathy Lynn Harris will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid.  Funeral services will follow with Rev. Chad Foster officiating.  Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery, North of Palmer, Illinois.  Condolences may also be left at mastersonfh.com.
