Heidi Robin Walden (nee Long), 61 of Taylorville, passed away at 2:15p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.  She was born on January 30, 1962, in Great Lakes, Illinois.  She graduated from Grant Community High School in 1979 and earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Illinois Springfield and worked as a supervisor at Kemmerer Village in Assumption.  In high school she enjoyed participating in baton twirling.  She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. 

She is survived by mother: Allene E. Williamson of Taylorville; children: Lane Walden (Allie) of Mt. Zion and Holli Walden (Tyler Dalby) of Taylorville; grandchildren: Hunter Walden, Meadow Walden, and Natalie Young; siblings: Tracey Dodson (Bill) of Chatham, Wendi Smith (Ben) of Taylorville, Heather Rodriguez (Jay) of San Antonio, Texas, and Tye Wilson (Jessica) of Springfield; and nieces and nephews: Kris Willings, Jessica Willings, Melanie Willings, and Sophee Cockrell.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Allen & Helen Thatcher.
