Nancy Darlene Mullins, 73 of Mt. Auburn, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, in her home.  She was born on September 26, 1950, in Decatur, the daughter of Claude and Edna Mae (Frantz) Hall.  She married Andrew Mullins on August 28, 1968, in Decatur, and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2004.  Nancy worked as a housekeeper at Fair Havens Christian Home.  She enjoyed cross stitching, going on vacations, her dogs, and especially enjoyed anything to do with bears.  One of her favorite trips involved feeding fruit loops to bear cubs. 

She is survived by her daughter: Kathy Copenbarger (Jim Bishop) of Mt. Auburn; grandchildren: George Copenbarger of Mt. Auburn, Allen Hall (Kari) of Bloomington, and Zach Hall (Nicki) of Bloomington; and brother: Bill Hall of Normal. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and infant grandson: Joushua Aaron.  The family would like to extend their appreciation for the extra support they have received during Nancy’s illness including Donna and Scott Gutmann, Deb Doedtman, Brenda Kuehl, Allen Hall, Zach Hall, and her nieces.  Thanks for the extra support.

Nancy will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
