Judith Kay Boaden, 79 of Taylorville, passed away at 3:45p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.  She was born on September 26, 1944, in Taylorville, the daughter of Loyd and Ida Pearl (Stringer) Tarter.  July was a licensed beautician and worked for 43 years as a CNA at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital. 

She is survived by her daughter: Donna Boaden of Taylorville; brother: Jim (Valerie) Tarter of Edinburg; and nephew: Lucas (Suzie) Tarter of Springfield.  She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Judy will be cremated, and inurnment will take place at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
