Jessie Marie Williams, 74 of Taylorville, IL, passed away on February 18, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 2, 1949, to Loren Robison and Marie (Allmon) Anderson. She married Larry Wilson in 1967 and he has since preceded her in death. She later married Donald Williams on October 3, 1981, and he has also preceded her in death. Jessie worked for the State of Illinois in the Willard Ice Building for many years until her retirement.

Jessie is survived by her children: Christina (Tim) Westenhaver of Taylorville, IL; Scott (Pam) Wilson of Taylorville, IL; Michelle (George) Lumb of Tovey, IL; Becky Mink of Taylorville, IL; George (Tammy) Wilson of Kincaid, IL; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; her mother: Marie Anderson of Taylorville, IL; and her brother: Gene Anderson of Rolla, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father: Loren Robison; her two husbands; Larry Wilson and Donald Williams; and her son: Dwight Williams.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials in Jessie’s honor may be made to the Christian County Animal Control.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
