Dana Jo Krohn, 57 of Taylorville, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.  She was born on November 25, 1966, in Taylorville, the daughter of Lonnie Harris Sr. and Donna Jean (Oller) Harris.  She married Dan Krohn on December 12, 2012, in Shelbyville.  Dana worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a consumer advocate.  For many years Dana made memory beads from dried funeral flowers.  She loved animals and will be remembered for her big heart.

She is survived by her husband: Dan Krohn of Taylorville; father: Lonnie Harris Sr. of Taylorville; brother: Lonnie Harris Jr. (Cynthia) of Taylorville; step-son: Sean Ferguson; 3 nieces, a nephew, 8 great nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and close cousins that loved her dearly; and beloved cat: Patches.  She was preceded in death by her mother. 

Dana will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.  Memorials may be left to Fur Love in Taylorville or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
