Sandra Stauder, 70 of Chatham, IL, passed away on March 31, 2024, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born on February 4, 1954, in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of the late Marvin Stauder and Mary Niehaus.

Sandra worked for the State of Illinois Consumer Fraud Bureau for many years. She loved watching baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Above all, she loved her family immensely and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her sister, Sally (Doug) Keenan of Pana, IL; brother, Jim (Lynne) Stauder of Donna, TX, her caregiver and best friend, Kim Stinson of Chatham, IL; nephews, Jeff (Barb) Stauder of Pana, IL; Paul (Leanne) Stauder of Fairfield, IL; Marc Stauder of Pana, IL; Kent (Corrie) Stauder of Finley, IL; niece, Katie (Nick) Horton of Riverton, IL; great-nephew, Gage Horton; great-niece, Hadley Horton; as well as her beloved pets.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Mary Stauder; grandparents, Phillip and Lena Stauder and Cecil and Beaulah Niehaus; and her sister, Suzanne Stauder.

As per Sandra’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
