Angela K. Snow, 57, of Taylorville, formerly of Nokomis, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2:05 a.m. at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born on August 9, 1966, in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Michael Dennis Nation Sr. and Kathy (Eson) Galvin. Angela was a graduate of the Taylorville High School class of 1984 and she worked at Horace Mann for 31 years and the State Board of Education for 6 years.

Angela is survived by her: mother: Kathy Galvin of Taylorville, IL; daughter: Amanda (Ricky) Hernandez of Rochester, IL and son: Brandon (Haley) Snow of East Alton, IL; grandchildren: Eva Elaine Hernandez, Adeline Elise Snow, Ayden Lee Snow; aunts and uncles: Julie Eson, Edna Eson, David Eson, Paul Morgan and Shirley Sams all of Taylorville; sister-in-law: Maggie Ornberg; nephew: Brady Nation and several Cousins. She was preceded in death by her father: Michael Dennis Nation Sr.; grandmother: Carol June Eson; son: Tyler Sheridan Snow, brother: Michael Dennis Nation Jr. and uncle: Gary Sams. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
