James E. “Jim” Renner, 62 of Taylorville, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, in his home.  He was born on November 30, 1961, in Chicago Heights, the son of Jack and Mary (Schlosser) Renner.  He was the president of Marsch Emulsions and vice president of Louis Marsch Inc. 

He is survived by his wife: Alicia Renner of Taylorville; children: Jaclyn Renner of Taylorville, Jennifer Renner of Montezuma, Indiana, and Jessica Hogge of Taylorville; granddaughter: Anna Hogge; siblings: Patti (Fred) Crow of Lebanon, Indiana, Cindy (Mark) Wagner of Reston, Virginia,  Steve (Dejan) Renner of Naples, Florida, Rob Renner of Huntington Beach, California, Ray (Brenda) Renner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Ken (Leslee) Renner of Nashville, Tennessee.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
