Jennie M. Roseberry, 93 of Taylorville, passed away at 12:52 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2024, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.  She was born on June 26, 1930, in Kincaid, the daughter of John and Josephine (Noseda) Brandis.  She married William Roseberry Sr. on June 12, 1987, in Tucson, Arizona, and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2022.  Jennie graduated from South Fork High School.  She owned and operated Christian County Credit Bureau for over 30 years and served as President of the Illinois Collectors Association for 1 year.  She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church.  She enjoyed sewing, painting, hummingbirds, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Betty Ryan of Taylorville, Bill (Pam) Roseberry of Taylorville, and Gregg (Jackie) Roseberry of New London, Missouri; grandchildren: Jacob Ryan, Jacelyn Prince, Tiffany (Barrett) Kalka, Billy (Lacey) Roseberry, and Bailey (Kari) Roseberry; great grandchildren: Zachary Kalka, Colton Kalka, Ryan Prince, and Brady Prince; nephews: John Brandis and Jim Brandis; niece: Jolene Brandis; and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother: Joe Brandis.

A memorial mass for Jennie will take place at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 3, 2024, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid with Fr. Piotr Kosk officiating.  The visitation will be held from 11:00a.m. until the time of the mass, and inurnment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.  Memorials may be made to the Christian County Senior Center.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
