Dale “Grandpa” Myers, 99 of Taylorville, formerly of Morrisonville, passed away, Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife Eloise in 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Lana (Thomas) Adcock, Pana, IL and son, Tony Myers, Stonington, IL; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Per Dale’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials in Dale’s honor may be made to A.A.M.P. or Shriners Children’s Hospital and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
