Robert W Mitchelson, 62 of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away at 1:07p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.  He was born on June 22, 1962, in Taylorville, Illinois, the son of Robert J. and Bonnie M. (Griffin) Mitchelson.  He married Lisa Hobbs on March 1, 2008, in Eustis, Florida.

He is survived by his wife: Lisa Mitchelson of Dunnellon, Florida; son: Logan Mitchelson of LaCrosse, Florida; mother: Bonnie Mitchelson of Taylorville; sister: Terri Wilson of Taylorville; niece: Mandy Dempsy of Taylorville; nephew: Adam Dempsy of Taylorville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father. 

Mr. Mitchelson will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
