Tara A. Nolan, 31 of Taylorville, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.  She was born on November 17, 1992, in Decatur, the daughter of James A. and Sarah J. (Sappington) Garrison.  She married Wayne Nolan on September 3, 2015, in Springfield.  Tara graduated from Lincoln Land Community College and through her desire to help others, worked as an EMT in Springfield.  She enjoyed making soap and candles and was a talented baker and had a love of learning.  Tara cared deeply for those she loved and was kind to everyone she ever met.  She will be remembered for her caring, giving heart.  More than anything she was devoted to her husband and children.  She was the best mom and wife a family could ask for. 

She is survived by her husband: Wayne Nolan of Taylorville; children: Keagen Nolan, Alice Nolan, and Clark Nolan all of Taylorville; mother: Sarah Garrison of Pleasant Plains; and siblings: Michael (Joanna) Christie, Tiffany Christie, Tracey (Travis) Setzer, and Jennifer (Brandon) Crowl.  She was preceded in death by her father: James Garrison.

A family memorial for Tara will be held at a later date.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
