Dwight Wayne Eggerman, 73 of Taylorville, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, in his home.  He was born on April 28, 1951, in Taylorville, the son of Wayne D. and Gena M. (Maganai) Eggerman.  Dwight worked as a field engineer for several industrial companies and through his work he traveled the world.  He loved hunting and fishing with his buddies, John, Steve, and Dave.  Dwight was very proud of his family’s country property and loved to take care of it.  He enjoyed spending time outside, campfires, and watching the wildlife that lived around him.  He was a talented craftsman and could make anything he put his mind to.  He is survived by several cousins and close friends. 

Dwight will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
